The Pietta 1873 Great Western II Posse is a classic single-action revolver chambered in .357 Magnum and built by Pietta, imported by EMF Company. Modeled on the legendary 1873 Colt Single Action Army "Peacemaker," the Posse variant pairs a 3.50" barrel with a 6-round cylinder and a traditional exposed hammer for an authentic Old West shooting experience. The cylinder also safely accepts .38 Special loads for low-recoil plinking and practice.
The revolver is built around a solid steel frame finished in the classic color case hardened treatment, giving each gun its own distinctive mottled case-color pattern. The blued steel barrel and cylinder provide a period-correct two-tone contrast, while a smooth walnut grip delivers an authentic feel in the hand. Sighting is handled by a fixed blade front sight paired with a traditional notch rear cut into the frame.
Designed for cowboy action shooting, historical reenactment, plinking, and Old West collections, the 1873 Great Western II Posse brings the lines and manual of arms of the original "Peacemaker" to an affordable, modern production revolver. This is current production from Pietta, offered here in brand-new condition.
