The Pietta 1873 Great Western II "Californian" is a period-correct single-action revolver imported by E.M.F. Company and manufactured in Italy by F.LLI Pietta. Chambered in 45 Colt (Long Colt), this classic Western six-gun is built around a hammer-forged, drop-forged and CNC-machined steel frame finished in a traditional color case hardened pattern that gives every frame a unique mottled appearance.
The 4.75" blued steel barrel is paired with a matching blued six-shot cylinder for a clean, traditional look. The single-action-only (SAO) mechanism is operated by an exposed hammer, with a traditional blade front sight for fast sight acquisition. Walnut grip panels round out the period-correct styling, providing a comfortable, classic feel in the hand. Overall length is approximately 15 inches.
Whether you're a Cowboy Action Shooting competitor, a historical reenactor, a collector of Old West firearms, or simply want a reliable plinking revolver, the Pietta GWII "Californian" delivers authentic 1873-era style and modern manufacturing quality in one package.
