The Patriot Ordnance Factory Roller Cam Pin Upgrade Kit is a drop-in upgrade for Mil-Spec direct impingement bolt carrier groups in 223 Rem / 5.56x45mm NATO AR-platform rifles. The kit pairs a precision roller cam pin with a matching modified (notched) gas key, replacing the standard sliding cam pin to convert the bolt's rocking motion into a rolling motion against the upper receiver. The result is reduced friction, smoother cycling, and less wear on the upper receiver track during operation.
