Otis Star Chamber Cleaning Tool .308/7.62mm AR-10/LR-308 8-32 Thread

The Otis Star Chamber Cleaning Tool is a purpose-built star chamber scraper designed to clean the hard-to-reach star chamber area of AR-10 / LR-308 pattern rifles chambered in .308 Winchester / 7.62mm NATO. The tool threads into the star chamber so fouling, carbon and copper can be lifted out of the area a bore brush cannot reach, then pulls straight back out with the loosened debris attached.

This .308 / 7.62mm version is built on a steel scraper head tipped with brass bristles and rides on a rigid shaft with an extendible handle for leverage. The scraper end uses 8-32 male threads, so it also accepts a standard chamber brush, patch holder or other 8-32 threaded accessory to extend the tool's usefulness. Otis includes six (6) cleaning pads sized for the 7.62mm star chamber so the tool is ready to use out of the package.

Use it as a dedicated AR-10 / LR-308 star-chamber cleaner or as an 8-32 threaded driver for compatible chamber brushes and scrapers in your bench setup. Otis FG-2717.
