Otis Ripcord .50 Cal 36" Bore Cleaner

The Otis Ripcord is a fast, single-pull bore cleaner designed to scrub fouling out of .50 caliber rifle barrels without disassembly. This .50 Cal version measures 36 inches long and features 10 inches of aggressive cleaning surface built into a helix shape that pushes straight through the bore, engaging the rifling for full 360-degree contact with the lands and grooves.

Woven from Nomex fibers, the cord acts as both brush and patch in a single pull, cutting through copper, carbon and powder residue in one stroke. The construction is heat-resistant up to 700 degrees F, so it can be run through a hot bore, and the woven Nomex flexes to engage the rifling as the rope is drawn. Both ends carry 8-32 threads, so the Ripcord mates with any standard 8-32 threaded Otis handle or accessory for full-length rifle work.
