One Horse OH-CU01 AR-15 5.56 NATO 16" SOCOM Mid-Length Complete Upper

The One Horse OH-CU01 is a complete AR-15 upper receiver chambered in 5.56 NATO, built around a 16" SOCOM-profile barrel and ready to drop onto any Mil-Spec lower receiver. It ships with the bolt carrier group and charging handle already installed, so the build process is essentially upper-onto-lower and go.

The barrel is machined from 4150 steel and finished in black nitride for corrosion resistance and long service life under hard use. A 1:8 twist stabilizes the full spread of bullet weights from light varmint projectiles through the heavier 77-grain open-pattern match and duty loads, and the muzzle is threaded 1/2x28 for standard 5.56 muzzle devices or a suppressor. A mid-length gas system keeps reciprocating mass balanced for softer recoil impulse and reliable cycling across ammunition choices.

Up front, the upper wears a 15" M-LOK free-float handguard with plenty of rail and slot real estate for lights, lasers, bipods, and forward grips without crowding the shooter. The receiver is CNC-machined from 7075-T6 aluminum for the strength-to-weight ratio the AR platform is known for, and the included nitride bolt carrier group and charging handle round out a complete, ready-to-mount package.
