The Old Timer Trail Boss Fillet Knife is a purpose-built 7.5" fillet knife designed for cleaning game fish. The plain-edge stainless steel fillet blade has the flexible profile needed to track along the backbone and ribcage to lift clean fillets with minimal waste.

Built on a full-tang construction, the Trail Boss pairs the long fillet blade with a contoured gray and black TPE handle that provides a secure, non-slip grip even when wet. The TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) overmold absorbs vibration and stays comfortable through long cleaning sessions at the cleaning station.

This fixed-blade fillet ships with a custom molded sheath to protect the blade and the user during transport and storage. The sheath is sized to fit the 7.5" blade and keeps the cutting edge covered whether the knife is riding in a tackle bag, a camping pack, or a kitchen drawer.
