Each piece is cut from billet 6061-T6 aluminum and finished in a low-glare black hard anodized coating to hold up to regular field use without adding unnecessary weight. The Arca Trax profile mirrors the Arca-style dovetail found on widely used quick-release plates, so it accepts a broad range of bipod feet, tripod heads, and ball-mount clamps. Because the Trax sections are stackable, additional lengths can be added along the same M-LOK slot to customize fore-aft positioning for prone or barricade shooting.
