The Nosler Partition is the benchmark by which all other hunting rifle bullets are measured. Introduced in 1948 and still in production today, this .30 caliber bullet (.308" diameter) is built around Nosler's signature dual-core design - a partitioned lead core separated by a solid copper-alloy cup that locks the rear core in place while the front core expands on impact, delivering controlled expansion with deep penetration on big game.
This 165-grain Spitzer features a fully tapered copper-alloy jacket with no cannelure and a lead tip. Its published numbers are textbook: ballistic coefficient of .410, sectional density of .248, and an overall length of 1.175". Those numbers translate into flat trajectories, retained velocity downrange, and the kind of terminal performance hunters have trusted for over seven decades.
Handloaders reach for the Partition because it expands reliably across a wide velocity window - it mushrooms cleanly at close range and still holds together at extended distances. The fully tapered copper-alloy jacket ruptures instantly at the partition point and curls uniformly outward, driving energy deep into the chest cavity of big game.
Each box contains 50 bullets. Recommended use: hunting. A proven, premium choice for any .30 caliber hunting rifle.
