North American Arms Wasp 22 WMR 1.63" 5rd SAO Revolver

The North American Arms Wasp is a compact 22 WMR mini-revolver built around a five-shot cylinder and a tiny 1.63" vent-rib stainless steel barrel. Part of NAA's classic mini-revolver lineup, the Wasp pairs a stainless steel frame with a matching stainless cylinder and tips the scales at just 6.5 oz, making it one of the lightest, most pocketable rimfire revolvers in production today.

Mechanically the Wasp is stripped down to the essentials of a classic wheel gun. It is a single-action-only (SAO) revolver driven by an exposed hammer, with a half-cock notch allowing the hammer to safely rest between shots. Half moon fixed sights sit atop the vent rib for simple, snag-free aiming, and black pebble-textured rubber grips fill the small frame to give positive recoil control despite the gun's diminutive size. Overall length is 5.13".

Chambered in the versatile .22 Magnum cartridge, the Wasp handles both standard magnum rimfire ammunition and .22 WMR shot shells (such as NAA's Snake Shot) for close-range pest control, which is exactly why it has long been favored as a backup defensive piece and trail companion.
