North American Arms Sidewinder 22 LR/22 WMR 2.5" 5-Rd SAO Stainless Revolver - Rosewood Birdshead

The North American Arms Sidewinder is a compact single-action pocket revolver built around NAA's mini-revolver platform but stretched out with a longer 2.5" barrel for a more usable sight plane. The Sidewinder ships from the factory as a 22 LR / 22 WMR conversion revolver, with both a 22 LR and a 22 WMR cylinder included so the shooter can swap between inexpensive rimfire plinking and the hotter Magnum load without leaving the range.

The small-frame Sidewinder is built on a stainless steel frame with a matching stainless barrel and stainless cylinder, giving the gun the strength to handle 22 WMR pressures and the corrosion resistance to live in a pocket. The action is a traditional single-action-only design with a half-moon post front sight for fast target acquisition and an exposed hammer that lets the shooter cock the action for a deliberate trigger pull and thumb the hammer down for safe carry. A rosewood Birdshead grip fills the hand and provides positive control over the lightweight 7.70 oz package.

At an overall length of just 6.31", the Sidewinder is a true 5-shot pocket revolver that pairs the concealability of an NAA mini-revolver with the added reach of a 2.5" sight plane. It is a natural fit for personal protection as a deep-cover backup gun and for recreational shooting at the range, where the LR cylinder turns it into a low-cost plinker and the WMR cylinder provides more authoritative performance. The pistol ships with both cylinders, ready to shoot right out of the box.
