The Mossberg Patriot w/Optic is a purpose-built bolt-action hunting rifle chambered in the long-range 6.5 PRC cartridge and factory packaged with a matching Vortex Crossfire II 3-9x40mm riflescope, giving hunters a ready-to-shoot rig straight out of the box.

At the heart of this Patriot is a 24" matte blued fluted barrel with a recessed crown and threaded muzzle (thread cap included). The fluting trims weight and increases surface area for cooling during extended range sessions. A matte blued drilled and tapped receiver accepts Weaver-pattern bases and is paired with a spiral-fluted bolt and streamlined bolt handle - signature Patriot design touches that keep the action smooth and easy to cycle in the field.

The rifle feeds from a drop-box magazine with a 4+1 capacity and is triggered by Mossberg's adjustable LBA trigger, allowing the shooter to dial in their preferred pull weight. The barrel is cut with a 1:8" twist rate optimized for the heavier projectiles that make 6.5 PRC an effective big-game cartridge.

At 7.50 lbs and 44.25" overall length, this full-size Patriot balances well for both off-hand and prone shooting. The fixed black synthetic stock is built tough for rough hunting conditions, with a straight comb suited to right-handed shooters. Iron sights are not included - the rifle is configured as a scope-only platform, and Mossberg ships this combo equipped with a Vortex Crossfire II 3-9x40mm scope so it is ready to engage game right out of the box.
