The Mossberg Patriot Predator in 7mm PRC is a purpose-built bolt-action hunting rifle chambered for a modern magnum cartridge and built around a threaded barrel and Mossberg's proven Patriot action. This 28170 configuration pairs a matte blued metal finish with a rugged Flat Dark Earth synthetic stock for a low-visibility silhouette in the field.

Up front sits a 24" matte blued fluted barrel with a 1:8" twist and a threaded muzzle in the 5/8x24 pattern, suppressor- and muzzle-brake-ready, complete with a factory muzzle cap. The stainless steel receiver is topped with a one-piece matte blued Picatinny rail for mounting a scope, red dot, or thermal optic; the rifle ships with no iron sights installed.

The Patriot bolt action feeds from a 3-round detachable box magazine for the 3+1 capacity, chambering 7mm PRC. The trigger is Mossberg's user-adjustable LBA trigger, and a crossbolt safety is positioned at the rear of the action.
