The Mossberg Patriot Predator is a purpose-built bolt-action hunting rifle chambered in .450 Bushmaster, engineered for the kind of close-range, brush-busting hunts where stopping power and quick handling matter most. As part of Mossberg's Predator series, this Patriot variant pairs the classically styled Patriot action with the aggressive, no-nonsense feature set that whitetail, black bear, and hog hunters demand.

At the core of the rifle is a 16.25-inch fluted and threaded barrel cut with a 1:24" twist, a rate well-suited to stabilizing the heavy, subsonic projectiles that .450 Bushmaster is known for. The barrel is finished in matte blued steel and mates to a steel receiver in a matching matte blued/black finish. A factory Picatinny rail is installed on the receiver for easy optic mounting, and adjustable rifle sights are included as backup iron sights.
