The Mossberg Patriot is a purpose-built bolt-action hunting rifle chambered in .308 Win, designed to deliver dependable performance at an honest price. This Patriot pairs a 22" fluted barrel with a drilled and tapped receiver, both protected by a stainless steel Cerakote finish for corrosion resistance in tough field conditions.

At the heart of the rifle is a button-rifled 22" barrel with a 1:10 twist and a recessed muzzle crown. Fluting reduces overall weight and helps dissipate heat during extended shooting sessions, while the stainless steel Cerakote coating shrugs off moisture, scratches, and abrasion. The stainless steel receiver shares the same Cerakote finish and is factory drilled and tapped for scope bases. Overall length measures 42.25" on a right-hand fixed black synthetic stock.

The Patriot uses a proven bolt action with a tactile crossbolt safety located at the rear of the receiver. The trigger is Mossberg's signature Adjustable LBA (Lightning Bolt Action) trigger, allowing the shooter to dial in a customized pull weight. Feeding is handled by a 5-round detachable box magazine for a 5+1 capacity, and the rifle tips the scales at 6.50 lbs for balanced all-day carry in the field.
