The Mossberg Patriot in 7mm PRC is a traditional bolt-action hunting rifle built around a 24" fluted and threaded barrel. Its stainless steel receiver is matte blued and drilled and tapped for scope bases, giving hunters a clean, ready-to-mount platform for long-range hunting optics. The barrel is finished to match in matte blue and capped with a recessed crown to protect the muzzle and support consistent bullet release.

A one-piece walnut stock in a warm satin brown finish gives this Patriot a classic sporting-rifle look, and the fixed stock design keeps the chassis simple, rigid, and lightweight. At 7 lbs the rifle balances well in the field, and the overall length of 44.75" makes it manageable from tree stands, blinds, or spot-and-stalk setups. A 1:8" twist rate stabilizes the wide range of modern 7mm PRC bullet weights, from controlled-expansion hunting bullets to heavier long-range projectiles.

The Patriot uses Mossberg's signature user-adjustable LBA (Lightning Bolt Action) trigger, which can be tuned between 2 and 7 pounds without removing the action. The rifle ships without iron sights so the shooter can mount a scope directly to the drilled and tapped receiver, and the threaded barrel accepts standard 5/8x24 muzzle accessories.

Feeding from a detachable 3-round box magazine, the Patriot in 7mm PRC delivers modern magnum-class ballistics in a trim, traditional package - well suited as a do-all hunting rifle for western big game and open-country hunting.
