The Mossberg Patriot in 6.5 PRC is a purpose-built bolt-action hunting rifle designed for long-range accuracy and hard-hitting performance on medium to large game. Chambered in the popular 6.5 PRC cartridge and built around Mossberg's time-tested Patriot action, this full-size rifle pairs a 24" button-rifled fluted and threaded barrel with a matte blued finish and a recessed crown for consistent shot-to-shot accuracy.

The free-floated barrel is mated to a drilled and tapped matte blued stainless steel receiver, ready to accept a scope via the integrated Weaver-style base. Sights are none (optic-ready), letting you mount the optic of your choice. An 11/16x24 threaded muzzle accepts a muzzle device or suppressor and ships with a thread protector cap. Barrel twist is 1:8", well-suited for the long, heavy-for-caliber 6.5 PRC projectiles favored for hunting and precision shooting.

Mossberg's user-adjustable LBA trigger can be tuned from approximately 2 to 7 pounds to suit your preference. The action feeds from a 4-round detachable box magazine, giving the rifle a 4+1 capacity. A spiral-fluted bolt with a streamlined handle keeps the controls intuitive in the field.

The rifle wears a black fixed synthetic stock with a textured grip surface for positive handling in adverse conditions. Overall length is 44.25" and weight is 6.50 lbs, striking a balance between stability for long-range shooting and reasonable carry afield. This Patriot ships with one detachable magazine.
