Mossberg Patriot 22-250 Rem 22" 5+1 Bolt-Action Rifle - Walnut Stock, Fluted Barrel

The Mossberg Patriot in 22-250 Remington pairs a traditional walnut fixed stock with Mossberg's modern bolt-action platform to deliver a versatile rifle well suited to varmint and predator hunting as well as casual target work.

Built around a bolt-action action with a 5+1 capacity fed through a drop box magazine, this Patriot is chambered in the flat-shooting 22-250 Rem cartridge, a longtime favorite for coyote, groundhog, and other varmint hunting. The button-rifled 22" barrel is fluted, finished in a matte blued finish, and tipped with a recessed crown for accuracy. The barrel is free-floated so stock contact does not influence point of impact.

The stainless steel receiver is also matte blued to match the barrel and is drilled and tapped for scope mounting (no iron sights are installed). Inside the action, the spiral-fluted bolt with a knurled bolt handle provides smooth, reliable cycling. The Mossberg Adjustable LBA trigger allows the user to set pull weight from roughly 2 to 7 pounds without removing the action from the stock, and a crossbolt safety sits at the rear of the receiver for easy thumb operation.

The classic walnut fixed stock gives the rifle a traditional look and feel, while the right-hand configuration and balanced dimensions make it comfortable to carry afield. Overall length is 42.75" and the rifle tips the scales at 7 lbs, giving the Patriot a steady but not burdensome swing. The barrel is rifled with a 1:14 twist, well matched to the .22-250 Rem bullet weights most commonly loaded for varmint hunting.
