Built on Mossberg's proven 940 gas system, it cycles a wide range of 3-inch magnum shells with a clean-running, self-draining gas-vent system that keeps running in the worst marsh conditions.

The 28-inch vent rib barrel is paired with an extended X-Factor choke tube and a HiViz CompSight fiber-optic front sight for fast, intuitive target acquisition in low light. The receiver is drilled and tapped, making this shotgun optic-ready for those who want to add a red dot or reflex sight. The synthetic stock in Mossy Oak Vintage Shadowgrass sheds water and mud, and the whole package weighs in at 7.75 lbs.

Capacity is 4+1 through the magazine tube, and the quick-empty magazine release lets you dump the tube fast when switching between loads.
