The Mossberg 940 Pro Waterfowl is a semi-automatic 12 Gauge shotgun purpose-built for waterfowl hunting. Chambered for 3-inch shells and built around Mossberg's proven gas-operated action, the 940 Pro is rated to run up to 1500 rounds between cleanings and features corrosion-resistant internal components and finishes for season-after-season reliability in the blind and the marsh.

This Snow Goose configuration pairs a 28-inch vent rib barrel with a HiViz CompSight fiber optic front sight for fast, intuitive target acquisition in low light. The receiver is drilled and tapped and ships optic-cut from the factory, so mounting a red dot for snow goose hunting is as simple as bolting it on. A set of X-Factor ported choke tubes is included for patterning work and recoil management on long shots.

The 940 Pro Waterfowl carries 13+1 rounds through its extended magazine tube, giving hunters the on-board capacity to handle high-volume flocks. The adjustable stock wears Mossberg's Snow Goose digital camouflage finish, controls are arranged for a right-handed shooter, and the tang-mounted safety stays reachable without breaking the cheek weld. At 7.75 lbs and an overall length of 48.75 inches, the 940 Pro balances quickly in the blind or in a layout boat.
