Mossberg 940 Pro Tactical SPX 12 Gauge 3" 18.5" 7+1 Semi-Auto Shotgun - Cerakote FDE

The Mossberg 940 Pro Tactical SPX is a semi-automatic 12 Gauge tactical shotgun engineered for defensive, duty, and 3-Gun applications. Chambered for 3" shells, the SPX pairs Mossberg's proven 940 semi-auto action with an 18.5" steel barrel and a 7+1 total capacity, giving shooters eight rounds on tap before reloading.

The 940 Pro Tactical SPX wears a Cerakote Flat Dark Earth (FDE) finish on the barrel and receiver for corrosion resistance and a non-reflective field appearance, paired with a black synthetic adjustable stock. The stock's length-of-pull adjusts from approximately 12.5" to 14.25" to fit a wide range of shooters and load-outs. An integrated heat shield above the barrel shields the support hand during sustained strings of fire.

The drilled and tapped receiver is cut for Shield RMSc-pattern red dot optics, allowing fast target acquisition with a modern optic, and the shotgun ships with an FO metal ghost ring front sight for both-eyes-open aiming with the factory irons. A factory 6-shot shell carrier mounts to the receiver side saddle for rapid reloads under stress. A Cylinder Bore choke is included, and the muzzle accepts Mossberg's Accu-Choke system for pattern tuning.

At 37" overall and 7 lbs, the 940 Pro Tactical SPX balances handling for home-defense and patrol use without becoming burdensome over long courses of fire. The 940-series action is designed to reliably cycle a broad range of 12 Gauge target, buckshot, and slug loads.
