The Mossberg 835 Ulti-Mag Tactical Turkey is a purpose-built 12 Gauge pump shotgun chambered for a hefty 3.5" shell, giving turkey hunters the ability to run the heaviest magnum turkey loads on the market. Mossberg's 3.5" chamber also cycles the full range of 2.75", 3", and 3.5" shotshells, so the 835 doubles as a versatile brush-gun and field gun when turkey season closes. Built around Mossberg's signature overbored, vent rib barrel in a compact 20" configuration, the 835 is designed for tight patterns on gobblers at close to medium range.

At the core of this model is Mossberg's proven pump-action operating system feeding a 5+1 capacity tube magazine. The 20" overbored barrel is ported to help tame muzzle rise and felt recoil, and it carries a vent rib that aids heat dissipation while providing a clean sight plane. A fiber optic front sight rides the rib for fast, intuitive target acquisition in low light. The gun ships with an X-Factor ported XX-Full Turkey choke pre-installed to deliver dense, knockdown patterns right out of the box.
