The Mossberg 590A1 Tactical is a rugged pump-action shotgun chambered in 12 Gauge with a 3" chamber and a 6+1 capacity. Built to the stringent specifications demanded by military and law enforcement agencies worldwide, this duty-grade shotgun is engineered for reliable performance under harsh conditions.

At the heart of the 590A1 is an 18.50" heavy-walled barrel paired with a cylinder bore choke for maximum pattern versatility with buckshot, slugs, and less-lethal rounds. Both the barrel and receiver wear a protective Black Parkerized finish for excellent corrosion resistance. An ambidextrous top-mounted safety and dual extractors round out the controls, while ghost ring sights deliver fast, intuitive target acquisition in close-quarters and low-light environments.

A black synthetic stock and matching forend keep weight at a manageable 7 lbs, and the included M-LOK handguard provides a secure, modular platform for mounting lights, lasers, and other accessories. Configured for right-hand use. Overall length is 39.50".
