The Mossberg 590A1 Retrograde is a 12 Gauge pump-action shotgun that pairs Mossberg's mil-spec 590A1 duty platform with the classic walnut-and-parkerized styling of the Retrograde series. Built on the same rugged action long trusted by military and law enforcement teams, the Retrograde dresses that proven foundation with traditional furniture for home defense, range, and field use alike.

The 590A1 cycles a 3" chamber for compatibility with magnum loads and feeds through an under-barrel 8+1 tube magazine. At the muzzle sits a 20" heavy-walled barrel fitted with an integrated heat shield for sustained fire, and the barrel ships in a fixed Cylinder Bore for maximum versatility with buckshot, slug, and breaching-type loads.

Optics are handled by a rugged pair of Ghost Ring sights - a protected rear aperture paired with a steel front post for fast, intuitive target acquisition in low light. The metalwork wears a tough Black Parkerized finish for corrosion resistance, while the fixed stock is finished in Walnut with a warm Brown tone that nods to the platform's past.
