Mossberg 590 Shockwave SPX 12 Gauge 3" 14.38" 5+1 Pump-Action Shotgun - Blued Heat Shield, Side Saddle

The Mossberg 590 Shockwave SPX is the tactical variant of Mossberg's Shockwave platform, built on the legendary 590 pump-action shotgun line in 12 Gauge. The SPX package upgrades the base Shockwave with a heavy-walled, heat-shielded barrel and a receiver-mounted side saddle shellholder top rail, giving this compact firearm a more mission-ready, tactical profile for home defense and close-quarters work.

Chambered for 3" shells with a 14.38" heavy-walled barrel and a 5+1 capacity, the SPX uses Mossberg's proven pump action and feeds from the under-barrel magazine tube. The setup includes a cylinder bore choke, a simple and fast bead front sight, and a breacher muzzle designed for hard use. A manual thumb safety sits on top of the receiver, and the gun ships with five polymer shellholders that ride on the side saddle rail for fast reloads.

The signature Raptor birdshead grip is uniquely shaped to minimize felt recoil and provide a natural, secure hold from multiple shooting positions. At just 26.37" overall and 5.75 lbs, the Shockwave SPX is light, fast-handling, and is classified as fully compliant by the BATFE as a firearm. A blued metal finish and black synthetic grip round out the all-black tactical package.
