The Mossberg 590 Nightstick is a compact, tactical pump-action shotgun chambered in 12 Gauge with a 3" chamber. A spin-off of the popular Shockwave platform, the Nightstick pairs a stubby 14.375" heavy-walled barrel with a minimalist corncob forend and a classic wood pistol grip for fast, intuitive point shooting in tight spaces.

At the heart of the Nightstick is the proven 590 action, built around a steel tactical-style receiver with Mossberg's signature twin action bars and anti-jam elevator. The top-mounted cross-bolt safety sits behind the trigger group for easy thumb operation, and the gun will feed and cycle any 2-3/4" or 3" 12-gauge shell. The matte black 14.375" heavy-walled barrel is cylinder-bore choked and delivers a 5+1 capacity from the under-barrel magazine tube, with an overall length of just 26.37" and a weight of about 5.25 lbs.

Up front, the corncob forend with integrated leather strap is designed for fast, controlled cycling, and the finished wood pistol grip keeps the rear of the gun compact and comfortable in the shooter's hand.
