The Mossberg 510 Super Bantam is a youth-oriented pump-action shotgun chambered in 20 Gauge with a 3 inch chamber, built for smaller-statured shooters stepping into hunting or the shooting sports. A shortened 18.50 inch vent rib barrel, a manageable 5 lb overall weight, and a 34.75 inch overall length make the 510 Super Bantam easy to shoulder, swing, and carry in the field.

At the heart of the action is a blued steel receiver backed by dual extractors, twin action bars, an anti-jam elevator, and a positive steel-to-steel lockup - the same proven pump-action geometry Mossberg builds into its full-size shotguns. The signature EZ-Reach forend shortens the reach to the pump handle so younger shooters can run the action without overextension, and the tubular magazine holds 3+1 rounds of 2-3/4 inch or 3 inch shells.

The black synthetic stock uses an adjustable length-of-pull (LOP) spacer system that lets the fit grow with the shooter. A textured grip surface and matching forend keep the gun secure in the hands, and a top-mounted tang safety provides a simple, accessible control for right-handed shooters.

For sighting, the vent rib barrel carries dual bead sights for fast target acquisition. The Accu-Set choke system comes with three chokes - Full, Improved Cylinder, and Modified - giving the shooter flexibility for upland birds, small game, and clay target work.
