The Mossberg 505 Bantam is a purpose-built youth pump-action shotgun chambered in 410 Bore with a 3" chamber, scaled down with a shorter barrel, lighter magazine tube, and 12" length of pull so new and smaller-statured shooters can handle it with confidence.

A 20" blued steel vent-rib barrel and blued steel receiver are paired with a fixed brown hardwood stock, giving the Bantam a classic field look at a lightweight 5.25 lbs. The 4+1 capacity feeds from the under-barrel magazine tube, and the proven pump-action cycling makes for simple, reliable operation for any young hunter or range shooter.

Sighting is handled by a dual-bead setup on the vent rib (a white mid-bead and a front bead) for a clean, traditional sight picture on wingshooting or clay targets. A tang-mounted safety keeps the controls intuitive for new shooters, and the right-hand stock offers a natural mount. Overall length is 37.5".

Each 505 Bantam ships with an included modified choke, ready for general hunting and target use. The 410 Bore 3" chamber accepts both light target loads and heavier 3" magnum shells, making the Bantam a versatile entry into shotgunning.
