The Mossberg 500 Retrograde brings a classic field look back to one of America's most popular pump-action shotguns. Chambered in 12 Gauge with a 3" chamber, this Retrograde Field model pairs a traditional walnut stock with the workhorse Mossberg 500 action that has been trusted by hunters for decades.

The 28" barrel is finished in matte blued steel and features a vent rib for a clean sight plane. Dual bead sights sit on top of the rib, giving the gun a poised, classic field shotgun appearance. The matte blued receiver is drilled and tapped for optic mounting, and the gun ships with a fixed walnut stock that includes a checkered grip and a vented recoil pad, with a matching walnut forend.

A 5+1 capacity tube magazine handles both 2-3/4" and 3" 12-gauge shells, and the proven pump-action design cycles rounds reliably in any conditions. At 47.5" overall, the 500 Retrograde balances well in the field and carries comfortably over a long day of hunting. An Accu-Set choke is included for pattern tuning, and the drilled-and-tapped receiver accepts aftermarket optic mounts for those who want to add a red dot.
