The Mossberg 500 Bantam Combo Youth is a versatile 20 Gauge pump-action shotgun built around Mossberg's legendary Model 500 action, designed specifically for younger shooters and smaller-stature adults without giving up the reliability the 500 line is famous for.

This combo package ships with two interchangeable barrels to cover every shotgunning pursuit. The 22" vent-rib field barrel comes threaded for Mossberg's Accu-Set choke system and ships with IC, M, and F chokes for upland birds, clays, and small-game hunting. Swap to the 24" fully-rifled Slugster barrel when it's time to stretch out on deer with sabot slugs. Both barrels feature a blued finish and pair with the blued steel receiver.

The Bantam stock is sized for youth and smaller-framed shooters with a shorter 13" length of pull, and the matching EZ-Reach forend places the pump handle closer to the action for easier cycling. The fixed wood stock wears a warm brown finish. Dual bead sights sit on the vent-rib field barrel for fast target acquisition, and a tang safety keeps the controls intuitive for right-handed shooters.

Chambered for 3" shells and rated for 5+1 capacity, the 500 Bantam handles everything from light target loads to heavy waterfowl and slug ammunition. The platform tips the scales at 6.25 lbs and measures 40.75" overall with the vent-rib barrel installed or 42.75" with the rifled slug barrel. Purpose-built for hunting and target use, the Model 500 Bantam Combo is a do-it-all field gun that grows with the shooter.
