Midwest Industries MIFN16CRM15 Lightweight 223 Wylde 16" 30+1 Semi-Auto AR-15 Rifle

The Midwest Industries MIFN16CRM15 Lightweight is a purpose-built AR-15 platform rifle chambered in 223 Wylde, a chambering that allows it to safely fire both 5.56 NATO and .223 Remington ammunition through a single bore. It uses a semi-automatic action and ships as a complete, ready-to-run rifle configured with a 16 inch lightweight Melonite-finished barrel featuring a 1:8 inch twist rate for stabilized performance across a wide range of bullet weights.

The upper and lower receivers are forged from 7075-T6 aluminum and precision machined to M16/M4 specifications, complete with M4 feed ramps and .250 takedown pins. The receiver set carries a mil-spec black hard coat anodized finish (type 3, class 2) for long-term corrosion resistance, and the flat-top upper is optic ready with a Picatinny rail for direct mounting of red dots, holographic sights, or magnified optics. An A2 flash hider is fitted at the muzzle, and the controls follow the standard AR-platform layout for right-handed operation, including a manual thumb safety.

Up front, the rifle wears a slim 16 inch M-LOK handguard that keeps the front end light while providing plenty of real estate for accessories. Behind the receiver, the furniture consists of a black Magpul CTR 6-position adjustable buttstock for tunable length-of-pull and a Magpul MOE pistol grip for comfortable handling. The rifle accepts standard AR-15-pattern detachable magazines with a 30+1 capacity. The MIFN16CRM15 comes in at just 5.88 lbs, making it a lightweight option for sport shooting and training.
