Midwest Industries MCTAR17G2 Gen 2 AR-15 7" Drop-In Quad Rail Handguard - Black

The Midwest Industries MCTAR17G2 Gen 2 is a 7" two-piece drop-in quad rail handguard for carbine-length AR-15 and M16-pattern rifles. It replaces factory plastic handguards, installs in the same manner without gunsmithing, and provides mounting space for firearm accessories.

The handguard is machined from 6061-T6 aluminum. Finish: Black Hardcoat Anodized. Its four MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny rails include a continuous, monolithic-style top rail with T-marked accessory positions. Four anti-rotation QD sockets accommodate push-button sling swivels. The assembly measures 7" long, 2.3" wide, and 2.43" high and weighs 7.5 oz.

This two-piece design provides solid lockup and is configured for rifles with A2 front sights. It is compatible with most gas-piston systems and requires a round handguard cap in a carbine-length configuration. Made in the USA, this handguard is offered in New Condition.
