Midwest Industries MCTAR-08HD Heavy Duty Quick Detach Front Sling Adapter

The Midwest Industries MCTAR-08HD is a heavy-duty quick-detach front sling adapter that clamps to any standard Picatinny rail and provides a positive push-button mounting point for a QD sling swivel. Built as the upgraded version of Midwest Industries' standard MCTAR-08, the HD uses a thicker base and a reinforced swivel to stand up to the abuse rifles take when run hard with two-point slings.

The adapter is constructed of 6061 aluminum and finished in black hard coat anodizing for corrosion resistance and a long service life. A 1-1/4" wide, 360-degree rotating push-button swivel comes pre-installed, so you can pop the sling on or off in seconds without unmounting the adapter from the rail. The compact body keeps the mount tucked out of the way while still giving you a rock-solid front sling point.
