Construction pairs a hardcoat anodized 6061 aluminum base with ordnance-grade steel mechanisms for a tough, lightweight package. The front sight folds down to a low-profile .437" and flips up to standard Mil-Spec sight height, using the familiar A2 front sight post. Dual locking detent springs hold each sight crisply in the folded or deployed position.

Adjustment is fast and intuitive: the front sight clicks at 1.5 MOA per click for elevation, and the rear offers windage adjustment at a .5 MOA per click rate. The compact folded profile keeps the set snag-free when not in use, and the spring-loaded detents snap the sights firmly into the deployed position.
