The Midwest Industries Combat Rail HD is a one-piece free-float M-LOK handguard built specifically for AR-15 rifles, measuring 9.25" in length. The "HD" (Heavy Duty) series delivers a more rigid lock-up than standard M-LOK handguards, with thicker anti-rotation tabs and a reinforced inner geometry that resists shift under recoil and rough handling.

The handguard body is constructed from 6061 aluminum and finished in a tough Type 3 hardcoat anodized black coating. It mates to the upper via a heat-treated 4140 steel barrel nut driven down with Midwest Industries' patented torque plate for a precise, repeatable fit. Steel-reinforced QD sling mounts give you push-button sling attachment without giving up rail space, while the top retains a continuous Picatinny rail for iron sights, optics, and night-vision aiming devices with minimal point-of-impact shift.

At 1.750" outside diameter with a 1.250" inside diameter, the Combat Rail HD accepts most standard AR-15 barrel contours and is fully dehorned and deburred for shooter comfort. Like all Midwest Industries products, the Combat Rail HD is 100% Made in the USA to tight quality standards.
