Midwest Industries AR-308/LR-308 Combat 15" M-LOK Handguard - Black

The Midwest Industries AR-308/LR-308 Combat Handguard is a 15" free-float rail for AR-308/LR-308-pattern rifles using a DPMS High receiver profile. It fits receivers with a .210" tang height and is not compatible with DPMS G2 rifles.

Made entirely in the USA, this handguard is machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and finished in black hardcoat anodizing. It measures 1.750" wide by 2.187" high, provides a 1.50" internal diameter, and has an installed weight of 14.5 oz.

Three sides of M-LOK-compatible slots provide accessory-mounting space, while five anti-rotation QD sling sockets support sling placement. Retention is handled by a patented 4140 heat-treated torque plate and an aluminum anti-rotation block.

Included are a 4140 heat-treated barrel nut with 1 7/16-16 threads, a barrel-nut wrench, and a five-slot M-LOK-compatible rail section. Midwest Industries directs installation by a qualified gunsmith; the barrel nut is specified for a maximum of 50 ft lbs, handguard screws for 40 in lbs, and M-LOK screws for 15 in lbs.
