The Meprolight USA MVO 1-8x28 is a first focal plane low-power variable optic built around a 34mm main tube with a matte black anodized finish. Designed for fast, on-the-move engagements from close to medium range, the MVO delivers the wide field of view of a red dot at 1x and the precision of a true riflescope as the magnification ramps up to 8x.

Premium SCHOTT glass and anti-reflection coated lenses push light transmission up to 92% for clear sight pictures in low-light conditions. The glass-etched M1 MRAD reticle is illuminated in green or red and sits in the first focal plane, so MRAD subtensions stay accurate across the entire 1-8x zoom range. Fixed parallax and a generous 3.70" of eye relief keep the sight picture stable during recoil.

The MVO 1-8x28 is a natural fit for the AR-15 platform and other comparable carbines that see dynamic work. It measures 10.90" long, weighs 25.30 oz, and carries a field of view that runs from 111.50 ft at 1x down to 14.10 ft at 8x at 100 yards. Battery life is rated at roughly 600 hours, and the optic is fog proof, shockproof, and waterproof for hard use in the field.
