The MEC Powder Bushing #38 is a precision aluminum powder bushing designed for shotshell reloading. Manufactured by MEC (Mayville Engineering Corp), this bushing drops directly into any MEC charge bar to regulate the precise volume of powder thrown with each charge, giving handloaders consistent, repeatable powder drops for their shotshell loads.
The #38 bushing works with all MEC charge bars made for interchangeable bushings, including the 502 series progressive charge bars and the 302 series single-stage charge bars. Whether you run a MEC 600 Jr, Versa, 700, or one of the company's single-stage presses, this bushing drops right in to set your powder charge. MEC produces these bushings in a wide range of numbered sizes so reloaders can fine-tune charges for specific powders, hulls, and shot weights - simply reference a MEC powder bushing chart to confirm the correct bushing for your intended load.
Machined from aluminum with a silver finish and identified by MEC part number 5038, this is a genuine MEC reloading component built to the same standard as the company's progressive shotshell presses. Add it to your reloading bench to expand the range of charges your existing MEC charge bar can throw.
