The MEC Powder Bushing #11 is a precision aluminum shotshell reloading bushing used to meter and drop a consistent powder charge in MEC Single Stage and Progressive shotshell presses. Machined from corrosion-resistant silver aluminum, this bushing installs directly into a MEC charge bar to control the volume of powder delivered with each pull of the press handle, giving reloaders a repeatable charge weight across hundreds of rounds.
Sized as #11, this bushing drops approximately 12 to 28 grains of powder, making it a popular choice for light target loads through medium hunting loads. It is rated for target charges from 7/8 oz to 1 oz of shot and hunting charges from 1 oz to 1-1/8 oz, covering a wide range of common 12-gauge recipes.
The bushing is multi-gauge compatible and can be used to reload shells from 410 Bore through 12 Gauge when paired with the appropriate MEC charge bar. It fits all MEC charge bars designed to accept interchangeable bushings, including the 600 Jr, 9000, 302, and 502 bars, and is a direct, factory-style replacement for worn or lost bushings in any MEC shotshell reloading setup.
To select the correct bushing, consult the MEC powder bushing chart and cross-reference your chosen powder, charge weight, and shot load. Always verify the dropped charge on a scale before running live rounds.
