The MDT XRS Chassis delivers the classic feel and ergonomics of a traditional sporter rifle stock combined with the modular performance of a modern precision chassis. Built around a full-length CNC-machined core of 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum wrapped in high-strength textured polymer panels, this chassis transforms a Short Action Howa 1500 rifle into a feature-rich precision platform while keeping a familiar, traditional shape.

The XRS is fully free-floating to protect barrel harmonics and features an adjustable length of pull via spacers ranging from 13.25" to 15"+, accommodating a wide range of shooters and shooting positions. A quick-adjust cheek rest lets the shooter dial in proper scope height over bore for a repeatable, comfortable cheek weld behind any mounted optic.

Up front, the M-LOK forend provides a versatile mounting surface for accessories such as bipods, lights, and barricade stops, while the chassis accepts any AICS-pattern magazine for reliable, interchangeable feeding. Interchangeable grips round out the customization, allowing the shooter to fine-tune the feel and ergonomics of the chassis to match personal preference.
