The MDT XRS Chassis transforms a traditional Remington 700 short action rifle into a modern precision-shooting platform without sacrificing the classic feel of a factory-style stock. Built around a CNC-machined 6061 aluminum core wrapped in high-strength polymer panels, the XRS delivers a rigid, free-floated bedding area that supports precision barrel work while keeping overall weight reasonable for a chassis of this class.

This Flat Dark Earth (FDE) right-hand configuration is purpose-built for the Remington 700 short action, fitting both standard Remington 700 SA actions and short-action clones. The chassis accepts AICS-pattern detachable box magazines, giving shooters a familiar, widely-supported magazine interface for the build.

Up front, a 12" M-LOK compatible forend provides plenty of real estate for slings, bipods, lights, and other accessories, and the free-floating design accommodates barrels up to 1.25" in diameter. A quick-adjust cheek rest lets you dial in scope height over the bore, while the adjustable length of pull (via spacers, approximately 13.25" to over 15") lets you tailor fit to your shooting style and clothing. Interchangeable grips round out the ergonomics, letting you swap grip modules to match your preferred hand position.
