The MDT TIMBR Core Precision Kit is a hybrid rifle chassis system that wraps MDT's proven aluminum micro-chassis in a traditional laminate wood exterior. Designed for the Remington 700 Short Action Right Hand, it replaces the factory stock and turns a standard hunting rifle into a rigid, repeatable precision platform without giving up the classic lines of a walnut-stock sporter.

At the heart of the chassis is MDT's V-block bedding system, which sandwiches the Remington 700 action in metal to eliminate bedding pressure points and free-floats the barrel for consistent shot-to-shot performance. The fore-end is cut wide enough to accept heavy-tapered barrels up to a Sendero contour - far larger than what fits inside a typical wood stock - and an internal aluminum structure keeps weight manageable while protecting accuracy.

This listing is the Precision Kit configuration, which adds MDT's matching bottom metal so the action runs on detachable box magazines instead of a fixed internal mag. Length of pull adjusts from approximately 13.6" to 14.3" for a dialed-in fit at the bench, on a barricade, or off a pack.
