The MDT HNT26 Chassis System is a purpose-built hunting rifle chassis designed to replace the factory stock on a Remington 700 Short Action rifle in a right-hand configuration. The "BCF" suffix denotes the Black Carbon Fiber finish, pairing MDT's lightweight chassis architecture with a stealthy black aesthetic well suited to mountain and backcountry hunting rifles.

At the heart of the HNT26 is a magnesium alloy rifle stock/base, paired with a carbon fiber forend, carbon fiber pistol grip, and a foam-filled carbon fiber buttstock. This mixed-material construction keeps overall weight low while preserving rigidity at the action and bedding surfaces. Overall length measures 29.8 inches.

The forend integrates a fixed ARCA rail interface, letting hunters and shooters quickly attach and swap tripods, bipod adapters, barricade supports, and other ARCA-compatible accessories without re-zeroing. The chassis is fully free-floating, so the barrel is not contacted by the stock and point of impact stays consistent shot to shot.

An AR-style pistol grip and adjustable length of pull allow the shooter to dial in an upright, modern shooting position behind the optic, while the buttstock spacer system lets LOP be tuned for proper eye relief and stock weld across a wide range of scope bell sizes.
