Upgrade your bolt-action rifle with the MDT Field Stock Chassis System, a drop-in chassis purpose-built for Savage Axis short action rifles in a right-hand configuration. Finished in Flat Dark Earth, the Field Stock transforms a factory Savage Axis into a more rigid, ergonomic, and accessory-ready precision platform.

The chassis pairs a 6061 aluminum core with an overmolded polymer shell, producing a stock that is stiff where it counts yet comfortable to carry in cold weather. The traditionally shaped stock profile is optimized for both bench shooting and field use, and the overall weight comes in at approximately 3.1 lbs. An aluminum V-block bedding system locks the barreled action in place to maximize accuracy out of the factory rifle.

The forend features full M-LOK slots so you can mount bipods, lights, sling studs, or other accessories to suit hunting, competition, or casual long-range shooting. Shooter fit is dialed in with an adjustable length of pull and an integrated cheek riser for proper eye alignment behind the optic. The Field Stock is a non-folding design and is intended for right-handed shooters.
