Maxim Defense JP Silent Captured Spring Standard AR-Platform

The Maxim Defense JP Silent Captured Spring is a self-contained buffer and recoil-spring assembly engineered to replace the standard buffer and spring in AR-platform rifles. Built around an integrated guide rod with a tungsten and stainless steel construction and a silver finish, this captured-spring unit is designed to smooth bolt cycling, reduce friction, and noticeably quiet the action compared to a conventional buffer and spring setup.

This is the Standard weight configuration of the JP Silent Captured Spring (JP SCS) system, manufactured exclusively for Maxim Defense Industries to work with the Maxim Defense CQB Stock System. The self-contained guide rod keeps the spring captured at all times, eliminating spring bind during recoil and simplifying disassembly. It is intended specifically for compact Maxim Defense CQB builds and is not a direct drop-in for standard carbine or rifle buffers on non-Maxim platforms.
