This self-contained captured spring assembly drops in place of a standard buffer and spring, eliminating the rattle and friction found in conventional setups and producing noticeably smoother, quieter bolt cycling - a real advantage on short-barreled and suppressed 9mm AR builds.

The 9mm weight configuration is tuned specifically for blowback-operated 9mm AR-platform pistols and SBRs, holding the bolt under firm control through the longer cycling stroke of pistol-caliber carbines.
