Maxim Defense CQB AR-9 9mm Luger Roller Delayed Buffer System

The Maxim Defense CQB Roller Delayed Blowback System Buffer is a buffer-system upgrade for most AR-15 and AR-9 configurations chambered in 9mm Luger. It is designed to convert a conventional straight-blowback setup to roller-delayed blowback operation.

Its roller-locking mechanism delays bolt opening until chamber pressure has dropped. Compared with ordinary straight-blowback operation, this design provides smoother cycling and reduced felt recoil. The system is constructed from steel.

Compatibility note: This CQB-length version works only with Maxim Defense CQB-length buffer tubes. This listing includes the CQB-length roller-delayed buffer system only; a compatible CQB buffer tube and other firearm components are not included.
