The Magpul MOE SL Handguard is a lightweight, slim-line replacement handguard for AR-15/M4 carbines equipped with a carbine-length gas system and an A2 front sight. Built around a reinforced heat-resistant polymer construction, the MOE SL delivers modular flexibility through M-LOK accessory slots at the 2, 6, and 10 o'clock positions, allowing the user to mount lights, lasers, foregrips, and other accessories directly to the handguard without the added weight or cost of a full aluminum rail.

At 8.9 in long and weighing just 6.7 oz, the MOE SL's slim profile keeps the carbine light and well-balanced. The integrated heat shield helps protect the support hand during extended strings of fire, while the trim shape provides a more natural, modern hold compared to the legacy A2 handguard it replaces.
