Magpul MAG517-BLK MS1/MS3 QD Sling Adapter Black

The Magpul MAG517-BLK MS1/MS3 QD Sling Adapter turns an existing MS1 sling into a convertible sling that operates in either one-point or two-point configuration and transitions between the two with a single hand. Made in the USA, the adapter pairs a push-button QD Sling Swivel in a rugged manganese phosphate finish on steel components with polymer hardware and 1.25" nylon webbing that is snag-free, anti-chafe, and wear resistant. The colored webbing receives a Near Infrared (NIR) treatment to reduce IR signature.

Combined with a Magpul MS1 Sling (MAG513) and an additional Paraclip (MAG541), the MAG517 gives the shooter fast, one-handed conversion between one-point and two-point carry on the move. The push-button QD swivel installs in any receiver, end plate, or buttstock that accepts a push-button QD socket for one-point attachment. The opposite end of the adapter accepts snap-hook style sling loops with an inner diameter of at least 3/8"; 9/16" and larger snap-hook loops are recommended to provide full range of motion for the Paraclip.

Finished in black and designed to fit the AR-15, M4, M16, AK-platform, and AKM, the MAG517 is a quick, low-profile upgrade that adds true convertible sling capability to a standard MS1.
