The Magpul Pro 700 Folding Stock (model MAG802) turns a Remington 700 Short Action rifle into a precision chassis system. Inside, a fully machined Type III hard-anodized 6061-T6 billet aluminum skeleton provides the structural backbone; outside, Magpul polymer panels deliver environmental comfort, sound reduction, and an ergonomic cheek weld.
The heart of the system is a V-bedding block that free-floats the barrel for consistent harmonics, paired with an injection-molded polymer forend carrying M-LOK slots for accessory mounting. A push-button folding hinge collapses the stock for transport, taking overall length from 32.7"-34.6" down to a compact 23.5" when folded.
Adjustability is fully user-driven: length of pull runs 13.25"-15.125" and comb height is independently tunable to clear optics or paired night-vision devices. The Pro 700 is fully ambidextrous, so right- and left-hand Remington 700-pattern rifles are equally at home, and accepts common AICS-pattern magazines for reload flexibility.
Built in the USA and finished in rugged Black, the Pro 700 weighs 5.4 lbs, measures 1.86" max width, and stands 5.2" tall at the butt plate.
